Characteristics and applications of L-type slurry pumps

Posted by Laura Shi (10 items)

L-type slurry pump is also called light slurry pump. Compared with heavy-duty slurry pumps, this type of pump is small in size and light in weight, and is suitable for transporting fine particles, low-concentration slurry or corrosive slurry. The weight concentration of the conveyed slurry generally does not exceed 30%, and it can also be used to convey high-concentration and low-abrasive slurry.
The L-type slurry pump has a horizontal double-casing structure, that is, the pump body and pump cover are equipped with replaceable high-chromium wear-resistant metal linings (including impellers, sheaths, guards, etc.). The pump body and pump cover are made of gray cast iron or ductile iron according to the working pressure. They are opened vertically and connected with bolts. The pump body has a seam and is connected to the bracket with bolts. The discharge port of the pump can be rotated and installed at eight angles. The front and rear covers of the impeller are equipped with back blades to reduce leakage and increase the service life of the pump.
